About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who sits between commercial conversations and engineering delivery. You take a customer's GPU workload, translate it into a reference design across compute, network and storage, and stay involved through turn-up.
Familiarity with AMD Instinct platform is highly relevant. The work is fast, technical and customer-facing.
Responsibilities
- Scope GPU deployments and convert customer requirements into reference architectures.
- Partner with sales on technical qualification for training, inference and enterprise prospects.
- Work with platform, network and datacenter operations teams through build, turn-up and handover.
- Maintain reference designs spanning AMD Instinct, storage tiers and RoCE fabric.
- Run customer technical workshops and produce deployment specs that hold up under contract.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with large-scale GPU clusters, ideally AMD Instinct hardware.
- Experience operating large-scale systems: large GPU clusters, supercomputing or mainframes.
- Working knowledge of enterprise Kubernetes platform engineering and infrastructure orchestration technologies.
- Fluent in the language of training and inference workloads, storage tiers, fabrics and tenant isolation.
- Strong written communication. You can write a deployment spec a customer will sign off on.
- A track record of bridging commercial and engineering teams.
